NYBA produces two leading boat shows during the year; one is September and one in January. Worth noting, proceeds from NYBA produced boat shows go back to the boating industry in Washington through NYBA programs. Whether exhibiting or attending, your support of these shows helps make boating better in Washington.

Seattle’s floating boat show, which dates to 1978, brings together a world-class fleet of power and sailing yachts presented by yacht brokers and dealers in the Northwest U.S. and Western Canada, along with a wide assortment marine products and services to help first-time and veteran boaters enjoy the water. Since 2005, the show has gained in popularity among boaters across the U.S. and Canada with attendance increasing by 40 percent.

“We are a small brokerage that typically puts 2-3 boats in the Boats Afloat Show. This year we tripled our usual display space as we had some inventory listed over 15 months, including two twin large block gasoline powered boats. Because both of those boats were in the show, they received exposure that was far beyond a sales dock or just the interenet. We received an offer on both boats, closed one at the show and one shortly after. We are so happy we chose to display in the show. Our success was all because we were there.”
