Boating industry to study impact of boaters on state economy

SEATTLE – Dec. 29, 2010 -- Two of the state’s largest boating industry associations are teaming up to fund a joint study examining the economic impact of recreational boating in Washington state. The Northwest Marine Trade Association (NMTA) and Northwest Yacht Brokers Association (NYBA) have commissioned a study that will examine the effect boating has on jobs and the economy in Washington.
