Dear Prospective Member,
Thank you for your interest in becoming a member of the Northwest Yacht Brokers Association. We are working hard to create an identity that goes beyond just putting on quality Lake Union Boats Afloat Shows, which offer yacht brokers, dealers, and shoreside exhibitors a chance to meet the most qualified boat shoppers of any show in the Northwest. The association and its members are interested in improving the professionalism of all our chosen careers.
We are often asked; why should a broker belong to the NYBA? The benefits are many, some of which we’ve tried to identify here in the accompanying Benefits of Membership. But more than any individual benefit, it is about being a professional, conducting yourself in a professional manner and running a professional business.
NYBA can help you achieve that. It is the only association of your peers solely dedicated to the interest of yacht brokers and dealers. Our goals—whether its national certification, up-to-date tax information or regular communiqués—are all designed to provide value to you as a professional yacht broker and to assist you in operating a successful yacht brokerage or dealership.
Affiliate members benefit by staying abreast of the issues and topics that affect your dealer and brokerage clients and contacts. Being in the communication loop allows you to more quickly respond to their needs with your services and products.
