YachtWorld is 2013 Keel Sponsor

Seattle, WA - (April 4, 2013) – YachtWorld, the world’s largest Internet yacht brokerage portal and part of Dominion Marine Media, is again demonstrating its continuing commitment to the broker community as the 2013 CPYB Keel Sponsor.

The Certified Professional Yacht Broker (CPYB) program is the industry standard for yacht sales professionals, developed and sponsored by YBAA, FYBA, NYBA, CYBA, BCYBA, GCYBA and Boating Ontario. The annual CPYB Keel Sponsorship provides major financial support to the CPYB certification program and its commitment to maintaining industry standards, professional development and industry recognition of qualified yacht sales professionals. 2013 will be the fourth year that YachtWorld.com has supported this initiative.

The Certified Professional Yacht Broker (CPYB) program promotes recognition of highly qualified and experienced yacht brokers. As the online marketing partner of brokers, YachtWorld is committed to their educational development. Sponsoring the CPYB is important for YachtWorld as it works with YBAA and the sponsoring CPYB partners to make the yacht brokerage industry more successful.

“YBAA and CPYB are extremely grateful to YachtWorld for its support of the CPYB program, both through its recognition of CPYB brokers on the YachtWorld website and its valuable financial support as the 2013 Keel Sponsor,” stated YBAA President Linda Warren, East Coast Yacht Sales, Salem, MA. “YachtWorld’s commitment to recognizing the value of qualified yacht sales professionals is tremendously important to YBAA and its members throughout North America, as well as to the more than 550 Certified Professional Yacht Brokers (CPYB) and their many satisfied customers.”

“YachtWorld is pleased to partner with YBAA and CPYB again this year. YachtWorld’s goal of supporting the brokerage community through continuing education closely aligns with the CPYB program,” said Ian Atkins, senior vice president and general manager, YachtWorld. “We look forward to participating in educational events, webinars and other programs where our team’s expertise can aid CPYB members.”
